Why American Schools Fail to Stop School Bullying

I am going to point out as a disclaimer that I am in no way condoning bullying in any way. As someone who was bullied at a certain point in Elementary, Middle, and High School, I know how harmful bullying can be to victims and while I never hurt myself as a result, I know that many people do. I also know that bullying comes in many different forms and for many different reasons. You have bullies that bully online, in person, behind people's backs and for reasons like they think someone is gay, they dress strangely, or they do not conform to social norms. I cannot say that schools do nothing because every year I remembered there being anti-bullying assemblies and there were anti-bullying conflict managers on campus too, but these events and people were never really able to stop me from getting bullied.

And while I hated getting bullied, I always looked back at the whole thing as a learning experience. Now I can only wonder why I got bullied in the first place, but if I were to theorize, it was probably because I was short, fat, smelled bad, dressed weird, was nerdy, and didn't know how to talk to girls. These are all signs that you are probably going to get bullied at some point in time. Now, what did I do about it? I didn't do anything, I kept quiet because I hoped that it would just go away. I tried to stay away from people altogether because I worried that I would eventually get bullied and that people would judge me. By the end of high school, I was effectively a loner and it was done completely by choice. I always would ask my parents how to stop from getting bullied and why certain people were bullying me. They always told me that they did it because they perceived me as being weak and different and if I wanted to do something about it, then I would have to change myself. They also offered a major caveat and that was the fact that they were likely bullying me because they had problems in their lives that caused them to take their feelings out on me.

I actually noted this by recalling how I treated my little sisters during this time. I treated them horribly. I called them bad names, I insulted their appearance, and I made all of the good things they had done look like bad things. This was surely the same as what the bullies at my school were going through. I actually recalled that some of the bullies at my school had parents going through divorces and some were getting bad grades in school. It is now almost ten years later and I am personally over the abuses that I went through. I am not saying that I am happy about what was done to me, but I forgive them for what they did because kids will always be kids and they sure are stupid sometimes, I know because I sure was. Only two or three of the bullies have since apologized to me and while I don't expect the rest to apologize, I know it is possible that it will happen.

My point of this post is the fact that as an educator, I feel like schools and the government are trying to tackle the problem of bullying the wrong way. Every single "anti-bullying" documentary I have ever seen always shows the situation from the point of view of the victim of bullying. And while this is all fine and good in theory, it tackles the problem from the wrong angle. And while it is a problem that kids are getting bullied, it seems like the schools are not getting at why kids get bullied. The blame, in my eyes, should never be put on the victims because in many ways, they are the way they are. They do things the way they do things and they likely aren't hurting anyone. Whether they dress a certain way, whether they like a certain thing, whether they wear their hair a certain way, or whether they talk in a certain way, they aren't going to be able to change that and I don't think that most people will care whether they do or whether they don't.

The main problem rests with the bullies and why they do it. People always say that bullies do what they do to take their anger out on smaller people that cannot defend themselves and I think it is more important that people catch the bullies, figure out why they are doing, and try to rehabilitate them. I mean (now this didn't happen to any of my bullies) if you have kids at your school getting beaten by their parents, getting verbally abused by family members, or have problems at home, you should figure out if those things are adding to their constant bullying of others. The main course of action when bullying takes place is to seek out the bullies and then get rid of them or punish them, but what happens when a bully gets punished? Do they stop bullying or do they keep going? In my experience, they keep bullying and usually continue to bully the kids that originally got them in trouble. This is why I believe that it is very important to give these students the help that they need. Now I know that some schools do not have the resources to solve the problem, but the problem will not be solved by outwardly punishing the bullies because they are VERY likely to reoffend.

"Alt Right" is Just Code for Neo Nazi's

Recently, the craze in the mainstream media has been all about the "Alternative Right Movement" and all of their crazy shenanigans all because of Richard Spencer's speech a few days ago. I'll get to that in a bit, but let me just say that I have known all about the alt. right for months now. Heck, I almost found myself apart of it until I realized that it was merely just an internet movement that was started on places like 4chan where childish and anonymous internet trolls made memes and pictures, calling people cucks and saying that they were triggered. In short, I knew that they were out there, but I had no idea that they were organized in any specific way. And because their main target for like a whopping three years was just about the craziest examples of third wave feminists that you have ever seen, I thought that these guys were quite tame.

However, it seemed to me like most of these people were extremely close minded because I know a lot of third wave feminists and they didn't act like all of those crazy third wave feminists. They weren't like "Trigglypuff", the unfortunately, extremely overweight feminist who was at a Milo Yiannopoulos conference, shown yelling and screaming. Or like Lacy Green, a young adult in her late 20's who has a sex education show, but doesn't have a degree in sex education and merely just talks the feminist talking points to hell. And it wasn't until that "Trigglypuff" incident, because the woman was triggered and she looked like Jigglypuff from Pokemon, that I realized that these alt. right internet personalities were nothing more than losers. All they did was sit there, for views, and make fun of this girl, who had been made fun of to hell, even after the joke was far from over. Like it has almost been a year and people still make fun of this poor girl, who had an unfortunate lapse in judgement and now poor SOB's out there think that every third wave feminist is just like her.

And by the way, these internet trolls are annoying as hell. The thing is, they act like they are extremely intelligent individuals because they are strapped full of information, but then you realize that they think that all Muslims want Sharia Law, all Jews are power hungry, Amish looking, bankers, all Mexicans are illegal immigrants, and are going to take their jobs, all Asians are smart and have already taken their jobs, and that white people are sitting there, powerless to stop it. Oh, and not to mention, if you don't align with their political ideology, they will just call you a "cuck" or a "libtard" because those are the only two buzz words that they are able to come up with. In all actuality, these guys are probably sad people, who only have a life on the internet and have never gone out to see the world around them. They are likely extremely impressionable individuals that look up to people like Sargon of Akkad and the rest of the anti-feminists on YouTube. Again, I used to be one of them until they really started talking politics and some even came out and said that we need to "ban" social justice courses from Universities, but these are the same people who A. Have never been to college, B. Don't understand that this isn't how colleges work, and C. Believe in Freedom of Speech. So no, you don't get to have your cake and eat it.

With that out of the way, let us talk about this group called the "alt. right". They had their conference a few days ago in Washington DC. I watched it, I was disgusted by it right from the beginning. I mean, it isn't every day that the mainstream media is showing you a bunch of adults doing the Hitler salute with smiles on their faces. It doesn't make me uncomfortable because I look for stuff like that, but because I am a Jewish American that has been taught his whole life that the NAZI's were bad and that this is what the NAZI's did. You know, the same group of Nationalist Socialists that killed anywhere between hundreds of thousands to a couple million people, depending on what school of thought you belong to. So here I am, sitting down, watching this video with a bunch of middle aged men, prancing around saluting to Donald Trump, their so called savior. And it wasn't until the speaker, Richard Spencer, came out and called his opponents "cucks" where I stopped and thought, "damn, internet troll just bought at suit and stepped into the general population."

So you are probably asking me, "Hank, what is the alt. right?" Well, I will tell you! By going to the Breitbart Website, which is basically the platform for the alt. right, it explains what the movement is. Now, the person who is in the center of "alt. right thought" is a man named Richard Spencer. The same Richard Spencer who did the speech with the NAZI salutes. His dream is "a new society, an ethno-state, a gathering for all Europeans. It would be a new society, based on very new ideals, then say the Declaration of Independence". They also cite Steve Sailer as another influence. He is known for saying "Since Jewish predilections play such a role in the media, it is crucial to understand these biases." So what we have is the guy who is the CEO of the Trump campaign, now runs a website where one of the top minds believes that the Declaration of Independence needs to be replaced with an ethno-state of white Europeans and that is basically his platform.

So you have a guy, who is described by the Breitbart website as the Alternative Right's "central thinker", but he is also expressing white nationalist views, leads a white nationalist think tank and advocates for a home world for a dispossessed, white race. The craziest part is that he is also looking to peacefully ethnically cleanse this country and the deconstruction of the European culture. So right off the bat, after reading that I am thinking, "how are they going to ethnically cleanse this country, peacefully?" Are they going to just kick out everyone who isn't white? Because, you know that was exactly what happened with the Jews when Hitler didn't know what to do with them. He planned on actually sending them to Madagascar, but for whatever reason, ethnically cleansed them instead. I have a hard time wrapping my brain around them doing anything worse than that, but what do I know? This country is full of surprises.

On a final note, I have learned that they are purposefully offensive in order to piss off or "trigger" feminists and members of the establishment. They will say things like "we know we are offensive, but we don't really mean it." However, here is the problem, when they say the offensive and deplorable things that they say, they will eventually attract racists, sexists, homophobic, and bigots. So at this point, they define their movement as being closely associated with racism and bigotry. So while again, people like Richard Spencer will stand up and claim that he isn't for racism and that his group isn't for racism, he still probably has racists and bigots on his group because they think that his mission statement is to just be racist and bigoted to people. This is the man that is the "central thinker" of the group, who has the President of Breitbart (the alt right platform) in the Donald Trump administration.

I will say though, that Richard Spencer does seem like a well-spoken, and learned man, but the problem is that the guy is a freaking moron. After doing my response to his "cringeworthy" speech, I watched an interview that he had with Ronald Martin on the ONE Network and let me say that he got hosed. My favorite part was when Spencer reiterated that Whites don't need anyone else and that they are builders. Martin refutes by asking who built the pyramids in Egypt and Spencer claimed that the Ancient Egyptians were white. I paused it and I laughed for about a minute. It doesn't take a genius to know that white people didn't live in North Africa. And while close to European countries like Greece, the Ancient Egyptians were semitic people, who originated in the fertile crescent. They were actually Middle Eastern people. Lets also mention the fact that it was people from that area who invented things like Algebra and Astronomy. So again, the guy is a huge moron who thought that Ancient Egyptians were white. I don't know if he was trolling, or trying to be tongue and cheek, but it made his credibility go lower than dinosaur bones.

So for basically all of these reasons, I do consider the alt right to be a bunch of Neo Nazi's. Sorry, that is all that it is to me. You are allowed to disagree, but if a guy who runs the website that backs the movement, cites the person "central" to the movement as being someone who wants to "peacefully" ethnically "cleanse" this country and make it more white, and they do not openly claim to have racist members, but they actually do, then yeah, I am going to have a problem with the movement. I saw the speeches, I listened to them speak and in my opinion, they are a bunch of racist bigots. But lets play devils advocate here and say, okay, they aren't racists, they are just "provocators". Okay, so please tell me why they hold these meetings every year, why they NAZI salute, why they use racist language, and why the advocate for ethnic cleansing. I'm sorry, I am going to call them what they are, Neo Nazis.

Richard Spencer and his alt. right minions.

The Gender Pay Gap is Mostly a Myth

I want to first of all come out and say that I am NOT a third wave feminist. I think that it was very admirable for first wave feminists to come out and give themselves a chance to vote in the early 1920's when women and most men were not doing so. It is that kind of bravery and no nonsense attitude that women of today need to look at and feel proud of. While the racial minorities in this country were gaining equal rights in the 60's and 70's, so were second wave feminists. In an attempt to gain equal treatment and equal pay in the workforce, second wave feminists won themselves a great victory and now women can have the same job as men and get equal pay.

Recently, however, it has come out that women receive 70 cents for every dollar that men receive. Now you might be looking at that and say to yourself, "now Hank, that seems really unfair." I will respond by saying that it does SEEM really unfair, but there is actually a reason for this. You see, men aren't actually receiving 30 more cents than women are for the same job. Moreover, they are actually receiving the same pay. There are two problems in this country and they both go completely against women and most people claiming there is an unfair gender pay gap might not see it first hand.

The first problem is the less obvious one. It is very unfortunate for me to say this and I hope this trend changes, but as of today, women are around 25% of Computer Science and Engineering majors  and at the same time, they are around 75% of Health Professions, Education, Social Work and Psychology majors, they are around 65% of total Foreign Language, English, Art, Communication and Journalism majors, and finally, they are less than half of the Math, Statistics, Physical Science, and Business majors. Now this might be truly terrible of me to say, but for the most part, women on average choose career paths that get them less money. This isn't all women, but it is a lot and it is most. Men on the other hand, choose more business, math, and science degrees and as a result go into higher paying fields. Not all, I was a social science student and thus, I won't get as high of pay. That was my choice, unfortunately, and I will have to suffer through it.

The second problem should be way more obvious. Unfortunately a lot of women have to do something called "giving birth" to children. And while it is something that they might want to do and they might get time off from their job to do, it might make them less unattractive to employers. Not to mention, women usually take care of the kids and that means taking them to daycares, going to after school activities, having their kid's friends tag along. Now, should the father take part in helping out more? Of course they should, but that isn't what this is about. Females who read my posts might be looking at me like "what a damn misogynist, I can't believe he would say such horrible things about women and how we do this and that and still get less pay, like it is a good thing to not hire women in the workforce because we get pregnant."

Well let me tell you a story about a time I actually temporarily took over for a woman on maternity leave. I was brought on about two weeks before she actually gave birth and her boss gave her about four months to be on maternity leave. I actually thought in my head that this wasn't nearly enough time, but I didn't actually say anything about it. Anyways, when four months came around, the principal at the preschool that I was working as a temporary front desk administrator for was actually getting extremely worried because the woman hadn't come back and I hadn't been relieved. About a month later, we all learned that she wasn't coming back and that the principal at the preschool had to hire a new person to fill her role, thankfully it was also a woman.

The fact of the matter is that according to The Atlantic, 43% of women who are pregnant, actually leave their jobs for good before or soon after having children. This is specifically bad in education jobs because students depend on their teachers, but if the teacher is out for an elongated time, then districts and principals often have to depend on substitute teachers to fill the role of the teacher. Often times these teachers have to come in at the middle of the school year and the students have to start over with someone new. I am not saying that you shouldn't have kids and that you deserve 70 cents for the dollar, but the reality is that this is a reason why business don't hire women on the level that they should.

My conclusion is that 70 cents to the dollar is not the number that women specifically get paid. Women are earning the same amount as men are, but because men choose higher paying careers on average and because women don't work as long as men, then the average pay works out to men earning more on average. I am going to leave all women, however, with this message and I hope you all listen to it. If you are earning less than a man at your job for the same amount of work, you have a duty to yourself and women that hold your same position to come forward and ask why you are not receiving the same amount of money as a man. Now, it could be because that man is a more senior employee or it might be because of gender inequality in the work force, but you have to say something. You might get fired from your job for speaking up, but you are doing women who take your post in the future a favor because you might advocate for equal pay if your boss happens to be a sexist. I hope this was an educational piece for people who believe in this type of gender inequality and I hope you all have a good day!

Donald Trump Winning Election Exposes Flawed Bi-Partisan System

So Donald Trump won the 2016 American Presidential Election fair and square. This is the system that has been set up in this country and the better man or woman won in the end. When Barack Obama won in both 2008 and 2012, I sat there and I respected it even though he wasn't the candidate that I voted for. At this point in time, it is important to unite this country and to respect the president elect even if he do not like him personally and we do not like his policies. I think it is important to admit that the world is not over... yet and there are far worse things that could ever happen, but right now I believe we should all keep an open mind. And if you don't want to I think we should all at least TRY to keep an open mind.

Let me first start by addressing the liberals in this country. I think we should stop all of the fear mongering. I know that Donald Trump did and said a lot of stupid things that were broadcasted to a lot of different groups of people. When he said those things, I thought to myself "he couldn't be that stupid..." and if he is, then he really is a huge idiot. Donald Trump was obviously pandering to one group of people and that happened to be right winged, conservative, alternative right wingers, and people who were fed up with the way that Obama ran this country. All of the promises that he made like building the wall, deporting undocumented immigrants, and banning Muslims, it was never going to happen. He said those things because those people wanted to hear that.

This is what made Donald the best politicians out of all of the rest of the politicians. He brought in a Vice President that he knew his base would fall in love with. He brought in a conservative, pro Judeo Christian man to get his group to trust him more, he told everyone that he was going to make sure that abortions were made illegal and that if any woman wanted to have an abortion, they would get punished. He promised that he would not be an establishment candidate, but what people didn't understand was the fact that he used to be the establishment. He didn't wake up one day and understand the errors of his ways. He was always used to outsourcing jobs to other countries for cheap, paying immigrants less to do jobs, and trying to keep people like him tax exempt.

Is he a racist? Homophobe? Anti-women? I honestly have no idea. I am not a friend of his, I don't know him and I have no aspiration to know him. There is a lot of information that would show that he is all of those things just like there are many character witnesses that would tell you that he isn't one of those things. Did he likely do a lot of bad things in the past? Probably, but none of us know what he has done and we should let a court of law decide it. A lot of liberals in this country think that his administration will lead to a lot of hate crimes and a lot of racism as there were a lot of racists that did vote for him. That probably will happen, but lets not blame Donald Trump for this as he isn't telling those people to do those things. I am glad that the man has told his supporters to "stop it" but it might be too little too late, hopefully not. And please, for the love of god, stop rioting in the streets and hurting people, it doesn't do you or your cause a single service at all.

This is the last of what I have to say to the liberals of this country, and the rest of this will something that many will perceive as being NOT nice. This goes to the conservatives in this country. The same conservatives that are content that Donald Trump is our new president and spend time calling liberals "whiners" because they are protesting Donald Trump and claim that he is not "their" president. Do us all a favor and just shut your dumb faces because you people have zero room to talk. These were the same people who before Barack Obama became president back in 2008, spent time victimizing the man. They called him a "Maoist", a "Communist", a "Marxist", and the black devil. They said for years that he was not born in the United States, when he was, they said that he was going to take away their guns, when he didn't and they said he was going to ruin the country, when he didn't.

This was probably some of the greatest fear mongering that I have ever seen in his life and they NEVER gave this man a chance. They slandered him, they dissed him, they pointed fingers at him, they treated him like utter crap, and they labeled him. And instead of attacking them back, President Barack Obama spent that last eight years being nothing more than a class act. To be honest, he set the precedent in the best way to act and they did absolutely nothing to deserve any of it. Barack Obama tried to work with the Republicans and conservatives in this country, but they did nothing but call him disgusting and deplorable names and didn't even give him a chance to appoint a Supreme Court Justice after Justice Scalia passes away back in February. They didn't even want to work with him either, vetoing most of the bills that he put in place and only forcing him to make executive orders. So please, don't tell me or anyone else how to think when you didn't even give President Obama a single chance to do what you would have let a Republican Presidential Candidate do.

Also, congratulations to all of his supporters who got duped into voting for him, it really is truly funny. He isn't building that wall like he promised, he wouldn't have been able to anyways because of lakes in the way and oh, I don't know, there are a lot of land owners in the way who would hate it if he built it on their land. He isn't deporting all of the immigrants or the undocumented ones from Mexico because the input of them is less than the output. Not to mention they actually help the economy a ton, yes, a lot more than they hurt it. He is going to be that establishment, politician of a president that you DIDN'T vote for, but you did anyways because you were so hypnotized by his words that you are no different than the business people that he has conned in the past. Congratulations, your valor and your delusions of grandeur has finally gotten the best of you, but this doesn't surprise me because whenever these people open their mouths, I tend to believe the exact opposite.

I am not the smartest and I don't admit to be the smartest, but these are my opinions. I scoff when people accuse me of being a liberal like that is such a bad thing. Wake up, it isn't a bad thing to be a liberal. Just like it wouldn't be a bad thing to be gay, black, or heck, even a conservative. For all the time they accuse liberals of being bad people, just understand that if liberals didn't exist, there would NEVER be progress in this country. Before the allowing of gay marriage, there was the allowing of abortions, and before that there was rights for women, rights for blacks, the inventions of light bulbs, cars, airplanes, leaving the British and so on as far back as time can remember. There were always those old farts who sat back there and said "I like my candle, no need to fix something that isn't broke..." Sorry, these are the people that are going to leave this country in the dark. It isn't that I hate you or that you are a bad person, you just need to understand that the country is changing and it will change with or without you. Will you stand there, criticizing our president when he continues to do the things Obama did? Or are you going to be ignorant to them because he is your president, not some Marxist, Maoist, Communist, Black Devil that wasn't actually born in this country? History has proven that it isn't the first part, and that is the sad aspect about people like you. And that doesn't go out to the people who voted for Trump, it goes out to the people who diss people before even knowing who they are and shutting down their opinions.

Hillary Clinton Should Have Been a Layup Opponent for Donald Trump

I think that everyone who reads my posts understands that I refuse to vote for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. First and foremost, let me explain myself. I am not willing to vote for a candidate that I don't trust and that I think will not be successful. Not to mention, Jill Stein and Gary Johnson are candidates that I respect as people, but I don't respect them as possible presidents. I actually think that both Trump and Clinton would be better presidents than Stein and Johnson. That isn't saying much, I just think people got infatuated with Gary Johnson early on in the process because he was saying good things, until he had his moments where you realized he was a crazy person.

You see, on one side you have Hillary Clinton and on the outside she might seem like the completely logical candidate. She is soft spoken, she is relatively calm, and she has experience in politics. However, when you look deep down you see that it is all just for show. She seems to care about social justice, but at the same time, she sits there where with the big, corporate hand inside her Seto Kiba jacket reminding us all to "play a children's card game little Yugi". She wants to continue more wars with the middle east and she will continue to elongate the level between the rich and the middle class that went on when George W. Bush was in the white house. I don't think she is willing to make the necessary changes to Obamacare even though that is what it needs, modification, not large scale replacement.

Hillary Clinton is running for the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party is the left winged, liberal party in this country. However, Hillary isn't a "liberal" as a matter of fact, she is actually pretty right winged. Yes, again, she cares about social justice but she is actually a fiscal conservative. While she is all of those things, I do have a lot more trust in her than I did Obama to get things done, but I don't think she wants to get bills done that are going to help this country in a positive way. I don't trust her and it isn't because she is a woman. She seems like the kind of person who says nice things to your face and is horrid behind your back. And I am sick and tired of hearing about her emails and I am sick and tired of hearing about Bengazi. The fact of the matter is that former administrations have done worse things than her and I just don't get the uproar.

The conclusion that I have is that Donald Trump should have the majority votes in the electoral college and in theory he should win this election. I don't know what the polls are and who is favored because I don't look that those things. Poll numbers are incredibly flawed and are really only used to scare voters into voting for someone else because their candidate might have no chance of winning according to the polls that have a huge margin for error. Why is this election as close as it is? It is because instead of listening to his advisors, instead of being smart about what he says, Donald Trump just won't shut the f*** up! Donald Trump should be the easy vote for president, but he has not shown this because he has scared his potential voters away.

And this hasn't just started here, it started VERY early in his campaign. From calling illegal immigrants from Mexico "rapists, drug dealers, and murderers", to admitting that he wanted to ban Muslims from the United States, to the countless negative things said about Asians, Blacks and Jews, and then admitting that he believed women should be punished for have abortions, it has caused many members of these groups to stray away from voting for him. And it isn't just because he is either a moron or an "ignorant idiot," it is also because his alternative right, red pill swallowers have been saying these same things for years and he is merely trying to garner votes. You see, Donald Trump will have staunch supporters no matter what he does. Although his campaign has been fueled off of the hatred that citizens have for this country and how the previous administrations have run the country, but Donald could kill a small Korean family with his car and his supporters would still cheer his name.

The unfortunate aspect of Donald Trump's campaign is that people are honestly scared sh*tless of him and his supporters. I'm sure you could go to a Donald Trump rally and notice how when he throws a protestor out, everyone beats, pillages, and sucker punches the naysayers. Donald Trump will even have the common courtesy of telling his fans to make sure they take the protestor's coat and that he will pay for the legal fees of supporters that try to hurt people. He has come out and condoned the beating of protestors. To be honest, it turned me off from ever voting for him because he lacks all awareness of what he is doing or saying and it is hurting him in the end. Not to mention all of his sexual harassment scandals, but I don't think that would hurt him that badly because it really isn't hurting him that much now.

My honest to god conclusion is that if Hillary happens to win tomorrow, she won't win re-election. Neither would Trump because I think that people will realize how stupid of an idea it was to vote for him because he clearly isn't president material. However, if Hillary does win, someone just as crazy, if not crazier than Trump will go up against her, learn from Donald's mistakes and he will win. Why? Because the Democratic Party is not left winged anymore. It is really center right, and as the left winged party goes to the center, the right winged party is going to move further right. And instead of this Donald Trump 2.0 being this loud mouthed individual, they will end up being calm spoken and when they win the election, watch out!

Is Donald Trump a Racist/Homophobic/Anti-Women?

So it is only a few days before the 2016 United States Presidential election. An election where us Americans have the daunting task of choosing between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. In many ways people are showing up to the voting stations to choose between the lesser of two evils. I think that many people who have read my posts know that I hate both candidates equally. Not only because both are huge liars to an extent, but also because both have proven in their careers to be completely incompetent. One of the biggest knocks on Donald Trump is the fact that people believe that he is a racist, a homophobe, and that he is anti women. Now, why do people think this? Could it be because of the vast racially charged comments he has made towards blacks, Chinese people, Jews, Muslims, and Hispanics? Could it be because he said that he would install Supreme Court Justices that would overturn gay marriage? Could it be because he said that he "kisses first" and "touches right in the pussy"?

Now I think that it is fair that many people have come out and called him these things based off of what he has said. Now, his supporters don't care, but I don't understand his staunch supporters. I have mentioned this already in my previous post about why his supporters ignore the horrendous and deplorable things that he has done But do I think that Donald J. Trump is any of the above titled things? My answer might be one of a devils advocate, but my answer is no. Donald Trump isn't a racist, he isn't a homophobe, and he isn't anti women. Donald Trump is nothing more than an ignorant idiot. Now why do I consider Donald to be an "ignorant idiot" and not any of the other above titles? It is because there are problems in this country. These are problems that many people are having in this country because of the way they saw it ran under the current administration. They feel as though illegal immigrants from Mexico are stealing our jobs (which they really aren't). They feel as though Muslim refugees from Syria are going to destroy our way of life and cause large scale terrorist attacks in our country (which they really aren't). And finally, they think that their religion is going to get phased out because more liberal people have made steps to change the way that people see those that they used to see deplorable (which they aren't).

And because these people haven't really had their voices heard over the past eight years because the black, demon, communist was in the white house, they have voiced their concerns. Now because Donald Trump is an elitist from New York and has not come into contact with people of other cultures, and likely wasn't trained in rhetoric or common sense, he has come out, been the ultra conservative and alternate right winged mouthpiece for change and has merely made it known of how he plans on changing the United States. He has some ideas that would lead to change, but unfortunately, his plans are drawn up the way a twelve year old would have drawn them up. With a clean, white sheet of paper, crayons, and booby traps all over the place. It is like Donald Trump watches "Home Alone" in order to formulate his solutions to problems in this country. And unfortunately, because his supports have certain gripes, they have been taken out on certain groups of people in this country and he has no problem exposing what he thinks are the problem. However instead of the problems being on people like him (wealthy elitists that have lived a good life their whole lives), they are instead blamed on groups of people that really aren't to blame themselves.

This is the microcosm that has caused people to think that Donald is a racist, homophobe, and anti women. You see, the solutions to problems are pretty easy to see, but because he doesn't have a background in politics, because he doesn't have a background of knowing common, every day people who are part of the groups that he insults, he just comes out and says the most ridiculous things about people. Again, Donald probably lived most of his life in New York and didn't have much interaction with Indian people, Middle Eastern people and Mexican people. So instead of going out and trying to learn about these people, what makes them tick, and why they do some of the things that they do, he just comes right out there and says stupid things. A good example of what I am talking about would be, "illegal immigrants from Mexico are drug dealers, rapists, and murderers, but some are good I guess." Now Donald probably doesn't know very many illegal immigrants, he just knows that they are supposed to be bad and the majority of his supporters considers them to be bad. Like I am sure there are some illegal immigrants from Mexico that are drug dealers, rapists, and murderers, but there are far more of those types of people here and to be honest, I don't see Mr. Trump being up in arms about them.

I am sure that if Donald Trump knew these people instead of claiming that he knew these types of people, then he wouldn't be making these types of comments. However, he is being egged on by his supporters and he is attempting to garner votes, so the best course of action is to just make terrible comments towards people in order to show that he is willing to give his supporters what they want. But lets be honest here, this is a guy who actually makes no real promises, he is going to do great things to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside when he doesn't have any real solutions. They are merely the imaginary solutions that match his age leveled insults towards his opponents. I'll say this right now, the reason why Donald says these things are not because of him. It is because his supporters reject the changes made in the country and feel as though they are not apart of it. He wants to be president, but he is forcing his hand to not being true to himself and in return he is saying some piss poor things. Donald was actually more of a liberal ten years ago, which is why it is obvious that he is either changing his complete mindset towards political goals or he is just such a moron that he doesn't know the difference between right and wrong.

Do Donald Trump Supporters Know He is Also a Liar?

I am going to start this post in a way in which I rarely start posts off doing. Instead of informing you about stuff and then forming an opinion, I am going to ask straight out. And before I ask the question I am going to come out and say NO I am not voting for Hillary Clinton. While she actually has experience in politics, she doesn't deserve my vote based on lies and scandals. Speaking of lies though, this question goes out to staunch Donald Trump supporters. I have been asking myself and others this question for about a year and a half because for the life of me, I cannot wrap my mind around how people think. When I die and I see St. Peter at the "Pearly Gates" I am going to ask him if Donald Trump supporters actually think he doesn't lie or if they believe him when he says he doesn't lie.

All I have been hearing since he has decided to run for president is that he tells the truth, he tells it how it is, he isn't a politician, and he doesn't lie. You can imagine Donald Trump wearing an Abraham Lincoln costume with the top hat and the beard or as a little boy telling his father that he chopped down a cherry tree. Yeah, I am not buying it. Besides being probably the weakest presidential candidate we have ever had in an election where his opponent is the second weakest candidate of all time he does have a decent chance of winning because the election should be semi close.

However, to say he doesn't lie? That is baffling to me because on all of the "truth and lies" websites that I have been to, the result is that Trump is lying his pants off. The funniest part of his campaign was when he called Republican opponent Ted Cruz "Lyin' Ted", but the thing is that Ted Cruz tells the truth more than Donald does. It just baffles me that his supports don't think that he lies when he clearly does. I mean it could be because they are just mindless people who just believe everything he says, but off the top of my head, I can tell you at least five times that he has lied. Donald Trump lied when he:

Said Hillary Clinton was wrong when he mocked a disabled reporter, which he did...

Said that he didn't support the war in Iraq, when he said that "I guess I do"...

Said that he wouldn't profile Middle Eastern and Muslim men when coming into this country, when he did...

Said that Hillary Clinton wanted to abolish the Second Amendment, when she never said that...

and my favorite...

Said that the unemployment rate in this country is 59%, which is in every way, completely impossible.

So clearly, yes, while Hillary is a liar and Hillary is crooked and I live in California so I don't have to vote for her anyways, Donald Trump is and will always be a liar. If you are reading this and still want to vote for him, okay, that is fine, I am not pleading with you to not vote for someone that you like. But you lose a lot of credibility by coming out and saying that the man doesn't lie and always tells the truth, because the reality is that he rarely tells the truth and is usually pants on fire lying. With these statements said, I know that my comments will be followed up with me being a Hillary supporter and me just being a Trump "hater". I scoff at those sentiments. So I ask finally to all of his staunch supporters, do you believe him when he says that he doesn't lie?

Does Donald lie? I'll let you decide

Why Rape and Sexual Assault Victims Wait to Step Forward

First and foremost, I want to preface this post by telling any man or woman who has been a victim of rape and/or sexually assault to IMMEDIATELY go to the police and officials as that will give them the best chance to press charges on the people or persons responsible for this horrible transgression. I have never experienced the horror of rape or sexual assault so I cannot even think about how it may make a victim feel, nor can I even imagine the level of embarrassment and hurt that might come from it. According to Scope of the Problem, 17.7 million women and 2.78 million men have been raped in this country since 1998. The way things stand, 9/10th of the cases are when a woman is the victim, making 1/10th of the cases having a man is the victim. One of the biggest divisions in this country is about whether rape culture exists amongst celebrities and whether or not you should believe people that come out years after the event.

One of the biggest cases of women coming out years after the fact when a celebrity has raped them was Bill Cosby. According to the women who claim to have been raped or assaulted by him, Cosby would drug them so that they passed out and he would have his way with them. They would add that they would lose consciousness and would be unable to remember what happened while they were blacked out. Last time I heard, most of the cases were beyond the statue of limitations, however, there were two or three recent cases that came out that could put the former sitcom star in front of a jury of his own peers. Many people came forward to defend the man, saying that the accusations are false and they know the man and there were also people who came forward and believed the women who accused Bill Cosby.

This is not about whether I believe he or current Presidential Candidate, Donald J. Trump, have or have not sexually assaulted or raped women in the past. This is about something that defenders of these people have always said to detract from these allegations. You see, I always hear people saying "The reason why he didn't rape or sexually assault her was because she waited so long to come out about what happened, she didn't even tell the authorities about it, clearly she is lying." I never understood that reaction, whether or not she was or wasn't lying about the claim. What people need to realize is that while yes, victims or so-called victims do lie up to 10% of the time in rape or sexual assault cases, that has nothing to do with the time that they come forward.

I think there are many reasons why people don't come out IMMEDIATELY after being assaulted is and I will explain the following below. The first is that they could be afraid of their attacker. If they feel as though the person who carried out the rape or assault is stronger than them or is in any place of power where they might feel bodily harm if they come forward, could fear for their lives. Instead of coming forward and risking what they feel is injury, they might just do nothing and move on. While this does hinder the police getting the perpetrators charged with the crime, it might make the victim less uncomfortable because if they do go in front of the police, they might have to risk re-remembering the pain that they went through by explaining what happened.

Which leads me into the second reason why people don't come forward. That reason is the fact that they risk skepticism in front of the police or whoever is questioning them. More often than not, there have been times where a person is explaining what happened after they were raped and/or assaulted and being told that they were being untruthful or lying. This often times comes from the court of public opinion because the woman dressed "slutty" or "scandalously" so she might have deserved what happened to her. It also happens when they are accusing someone of power and this might add to a lot of skepticism by the authorities, especially if they like or support that person or think that they would never do something like that.

Sometimes people don't come out to say anything because they are too embarrassed to come forward. Often times it isn't the fear that they might get physically attacked by their attacker for coming forward, it is the sheer fact that their name is going to be smeared all over the news. Everyone is going to know what happened to them or what they claim happened to them. While people might come out and try to console them, there will always be people who come out and again, accuse them of lying. People want to try to be strong and say that, "maybe I deserved what happened to me," or they might even say "well, he is a nice guy or she is a nice girl, this is probably just a normal occurrence and I should just forget all about it." Often times, they will try to make themselves believe that nothing ever happened so that they can keep their lives private and not try to mess up the lives of other people who may or may not deserve it.

Personally, I think it is a lot of the above. You can add in the fact that the survivor might not have enough evidence or the belief that the police won't do enough to help. I have honestly talked to women who have come forward immediately with charges and the police did not find enough evidence to convict the people responsible for the attack. A lot of times, schools do not do thorough enough investigations or absolutely no investigation at all into these crimes. I mean, yes, there are times when college rape cases are falsified, see the Rolling Stone and the University of Virginia and Duke Lacrosse rape cases for examples. As a matter of fact, people don't trust Rolling Stone because of the allegations that the magazine made attacking the accusers.

I just never understood why people have jumped on accusers of rape and sexual assault for coming out of the wood work saying that they were lying for doing so. Lets be honest, if you felt like any of the above after being raped or sexually assaulted, you kept it in for years and finally someone came out and said the same thing happened to them as what happened to you by the same person who attacked you. Wouldn't that give you the confidence to come out and say something about it? I also love it when people call accusers liberals for doing this especially when people like Gretchen Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and Andrea Tantaros, who while accused Roger Ailes of sexually harassing them in the work place, are about as conservative as it gets. I don't know, it always makes me chuckle because while not coming forward often makes trying a sexual assault or rape suspects impossible it doesn't legitimate or illegitimate a possible victim of sexual assault.
